Golem way too hard

I love this game and I think its great, but when I go to fight golem I can never kill him when he gets to phase 3, hes ridiculous and just destroys me. I have walls set up, a honey pool, heart lamp, campfire, and I use potions galore. I have true nights edge, flamethrower, pulse now and godly minishark with ichor bullets and arrows. Im doin everything right and I just cant beat him. Please for the love of god make him just a bit easier! Other than that the game could use more content like weapons and armor as well as more bosses. Still good game.
