Great game but 1 problem

I love the game but its one part that I really dont get... Uhm Im not insulting you or the game but its just that skeletron is really really hard. Ive had the games for months but could never beat him. And when I went to the under world when I was falling I died randomly and lost ALL of my coins. Thats fine I just really need help with skeletron!... Thanks and bye!
